What Will I Learn?

The advanced chemistry course provides the students the opportunity to explore in more detail the qualities and interactions of matter. The course will cover topics like units of measurement, mole conversions, electron configuration, chemical bonding, writing formulas and naming compounds, balancing equations, stoichiometry, states of matter, solutions, colligative properties, acids and bases, pH, and titrations. The organic chemistry part will cover the study of the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and preparation of carbon-containing compounds.

What Will I Learn?

The advanced biology course provides the students the opportunity to
acquire, interpret, and integrate biological phenomena through scientific and environmental
observations. Particular emphasis will be on the biological applications in the life science and bio-medical
field.
